Twitter Feed Getting Fixed
April 21st, 2008 · Filed Under: Twitter help
For the past few days, there have been problems with the cache system at Twitter.
It was worse for the heaviest users… but most reported missing tweets in their feed.
Here’s the official page with news from Twitter
Additional help from a Twitter user, Colin Devroe was posted to give people a “Twitter work around” so Tweeters could start seeing posts in their timeline again. Feel free to “Digg” it if you’ve got an account set up so the community will find this type of help in their time of need.
(Side note - funny how addicted we’ve become to a free service provided by Twitter, and how many people were freaking out this weekend due to the inability to communicate with their friends and followers in the way they’ve grown accustom to. Just a reminder that “free” isn’t always… well - uh… free of headaches or annoyance!)

I have been experiencing high volume errors as I have just joined Twitter because of the teleconference calls that I have been on to learn about the useage of Twitter.
I am unable to update my profile or upload a photo - so I just thought that I would let you know that you have a server issue.
thanks!

Aloha Dori,
We are the authors of the “Twitter Handbook”, showing people how to make the best use of Twitter. We are not however the creators of “Twitter.com”.
You may want to visit Twitter’s help desk and tell them of your frustrations with their server. They’ve recently received 15M of investment funding, so hopefully they’ll put it to good use and upgrade their servers so we can all make better use of Twitter and the amazing tool that we’ve all come to rely on.
PS: Congrats for joining Twitter.com!
