This is a great opportunity! My main reason for Twitter was originally to market, however, I believe it is more important to connect with real people for real reasons. Thanks so much!

Thanks for a wonderful post and for the opportunity to EASILY meet like-minded people. I'm a Networking Coach who teaches my clients the value and importance of Netweaving (paying it forward). I'm surprised - a lot "get it" quickly and others just look as though it just skimmed over their heads!

Thanks again for the #Greenlight community. I'm thrilled to participate and would love to help in any way possible.

To Your Networking Success!

I don't agree with your "obvious" statement.

I know Dave and know he's very much a believer in good energy.

His curt rebuke is not a true reflection on his character.

Thank you for tweeting about good energy and #greenlight

I love good energy...

I live for good energy...

I want to share good energy with others...

What is that guy Dave's issue? He obviously does not live to spread good energy, with all the neggy he threw into his comment.

Oh, well. Nice idea to grow a thread around good energy! Like someone else wrote, it beats #followfriday!

I Love how easily and efficiently a good idea can turn into something huge. I will be a part of this #GREENLIGHT.

Dave

Sorry about the typos. I fixed a couple later, but will leave it mostly as is.

Here's the story behind the story...

I had this idea about 10 minutes before a class started. Made a post, tweeted and got on the phone to teach a small audience how to do a Twitter promotion.

The class software failed and the guy moderating did all he could to derail the idea (guess he didn't get it either).

The result: Thousands of people saw the event. Hundreds participated and dozens made new friends.

All of this happened well BEFORE you saw the piece.

People connecting with people is not just a news story. It is bypassing the traditional channels. Anyone with an idea can get it out without planning.

That being said. I'll admit to needing an assistant like http://budurl.com/postclck

Warren,

Sheesh, have someone proofread your posts...several misspellings...that looks bad.

Also for someone coming in out of nowhere to read this (like me), the directions makes absolutely no sense at all! You end with "It's a(sic) simple as that"....only....it doesn't seem simple at all to me...your directions make tons of assumptions... I dunno...very confusing. You don't give a date, just a time. "our" class. What class?

The title of this post brought me in, but the content just frustrated me.

I'm reading this to the class:

"You have to do something, you have to take a chance, you do have to get involved. There are people that are having trouble making their miracle happen. There are people who don't have enough to eat, there are people that are cold...you can go out and say "hello" to these people. You can take an old blanket out of the closet and say "here" you can make them a sandwich and say "oh by the way here!" I get it now! If you give, then it can happen...then the miracle can happen to you. It's not just the poor and hungry, it's everybody who's got to have this miracle!! And it can happen tonight for all of you! If you believe in this spirit thing, the miracle will happen and then you'll want it to happen again tomorrow. You won't be one of those (Scrooges) who says Christmas is once a year and it's a fraud...it's not! It can happen every day..you've just got to want that feeling. And if you like it and you want it you'll get greedy for it...you'll want it every day of your life, and it can happen to you. I believe in it now! I believe it's gonna happen to me now, and I'm ready for it. It's great! It's a good feeling..it's better than I've felt in a long time! I'm ready....have a Merry Christmas, everyone."
