In a marathon editing session the other night, @CoachDeb and I were using DM’s (direct messages) on Twitter to discuss the finer points of our books.

Let’s face it.. some things will just won’t fit into 140 characters.

No worries! We moved to and online chat, then email, and finally did a midnight conference call with our editor. Multi channel communications is so cool!

@WarrenWhitlock live Tweetups this Week

How about you? Are you ready to move your relationships build on Twitter to the next level?

Tonight, I’ve got Larry Benet, AKA “The Connector” joining me on a call for my authors learing about book marketing and you are invited to join us.

You can listen live or hear the recording as Larry tells us how one connection can double your income, cut your work time in half, or get you to your dream goal.

This interview was set up for authors who are just getting online and promoting their new (or unfinished) books, but the information will help anyone with a book or a business or career that involves people.

We will talk about Twitter (how could I not?) but Larry is NOT a Twitter user. (I have a feeling that he will be by the time the show is over).

Imagine what you could do with a connection to the leader in your industry, one celebrity in your field, or the the head of a large network. Larry has done all that and will share his experiences.

Now imagine how much impact we will have when we connect with Larry tonight!

Speaking of #IMPACT

I’m speaking at the IMPACT BOOTCAMP this weekend. Be sure to follow all our updates in your Twitter stream. Use search to see #IMPACT and get tweets about our Tweetups and how we are teaching 12 people to have maximum impact to share their meme and ideas with the world.

If you can make it to the live event, post a COMMENT below and include your @ handle so we can invite you to our Tweet Ups.

And if you are in the area but not attending the seminar, why not?<Grin> You can join us for the Tweet ups if not the whole event.

Friday Night TwitCast with @RickButts

By popular request, we have @RickButts on this week’s TwitCast.

These shows are archived at http://TwitCastRadio.com You can listen at anytime… but here is why you want to get on the live show:

  1. You can log into your BTR account (see below) and let other in our network get to know you
  2. The experts we interview post URL’s for tips and resources we talk about in real time
  3. You can ask a question for me or the guest speakers and get a live response
  4. We “shout out” to tweeps we see active in the chat.
  5. At least once during each show, we invite people to post links to get new follows

Be sure to get your BTR account. The system we use is BlogTalkRadio (BTR for short). TwitCastRadio is actually just one show on a vast network.

When you sign up for a FREE account, you can access other shows, and when live, you can join a chat network with other listeners and hosts.

I rarely follow someone from a blind link on Twitter. I’d rather focus on poeple that are going to the same events as me, or active in the same online chats where I’m a participant… making for a much stronger connection right from the start.

One very cool feature on BTR is the “automatic time zone calculation” feature. Just go to http://TwitCastRadio.com and it reads the time from your computer and tell you exactly when the show is live in your time zone. So when we promote on Twitter, you won’t see a time or time zone (in fact, when I do, it confuses the worldwide audience)

Two radio show and a live weekend event.. plus 24/7 Twitter. I’m sure I’ll be bumping into you somewhere soon.

Post a comment here to let us know what event you are using to expand your network.
