Want more people to interact with you on Twitter?
More readers for you blog?
Or maybe you just want to spread your message to the widest audience?
Here’s how: Give people what THEY want.
So many authors, blogger, entrepreneurs come to me asking “How do I get noticed?”
I tell them to do what I do… STOP trying to get and start giving.
This is not a sermon… it’s just good marketing. You will succeed when you find out what your audience wants and give it to them.
Want more Twitter followers. Be follow worthy. Be seen as someone who GIVES help, support and attention to others.
One great example of GIVING is my friend Azim Jamal. He and his co-author Harvey McKinnon wrote a book called The Power of Giving. They get attention from it, but gave all the royalties to charity.
When it came time to promote The Power of Giving paperback, they asked how they could reach more people with the message. The answer GIVE MORE. Azim went to a blogger convention and talked to bloggers about how they give. 50 interviews with bloggers that they could use freely.
NOT talking about Azim and his book.. it’s all about them. Here’s one with Big time blogger and NY TIMES best seller Chris Brogan (author of Trust Agents

I could not agree more with the pilosophy behind this post. It is always about giving.
I agree that giving is what life is all about. If you are a giver first, then you will receive. It might not be what you thought but it will be worth while and lasting. My hat is off to Mr. Jamal and I know he continues to be blessed by his generosity and caring attitude. Thanks for this post!

Thanks for this. I appreciate all the advice I’m getting from Coach Deb and this was an especially wonderful one.
Thank you for this, I agree 100% – you need to give to be noticed.
I am using this philosophy for the last 3-4 years and I got many speaking engagements because of that.

Awesome video. This is an excellent book too. I just reviewed it on my blog, ProfitableStorytelling.com (link above).
Giving is my #1 business success secret. My first question to someone most often is “What are you looking for in your business?”
Ronda Del Boccio
It’s nice to see the evolution of spiritual consciousness slowly seep down into the business world. The law of attraction is love, and love is all there is. Love, give, grow and prosper. That’s the new paradigm for the future.
Great interview and a super reminder to all of us! Thank you. Hugs, kelly
This is very moving and powerful, a great reminder.
Giving also brings us great joy and fulfillment in itself as well as the “return” good energies. I was blessed to find my purpose very young and have had the joy of helping clients in deep ways my entire adult life. I am so appreciative! The appreciative transformation work has transformed me and my life too! What goes around….
In appreciation,

Do you know your neighbors are hungry? One in Six Americans Felt Pangs of Hunger in ‘08. Lets plant some seeds and do what we do best and help this cause.
I’m not actually involved with this organization (http://www.worldfoundationforchildren.com) yet but I have just recently been seriously thinking about voluteering with them. I looked at their website earlier today but forgot about them until I watched this video about giving. I then thought well the least I can do is bring some awareness to this organization. One way I thought I could help was to help drive more people to their site in order to help them increase donations and get volunteers. If anyone can agree with their mission statement of “Answering the cries of needy children” I would appreciate it very much if you could tweet or post a blog message directing people to look at this cause. It seems due to the economic more people are hungry now more than any other time since the Govt has been keeping record. Remember what Chris just said.. “If we feed others there will be food at the table for us.” BTW.. I found this site from @HarrisFellman. My twitter address is @Omeara . I’ll be doing a tweet to all my followers also. Both of them:) Thanks for helping!
