I tweet for many of the reasons listed above as well as the following:

I tweet to follow the latest news (I follow a lot of news accounts). I also like to pass the news stories on, so others may have them in a timely fashion.

I tweet as a blip.fm DJ, so that others may have fun and enjoy the songs I select. I especially like to play retro, oldies, and Christian music.

I tweet, at times, to express my strongly held views on things. I believe if something is important enough to believe in, it's important enough to share.

I tweet to share information and things of interest with others. I love that other tweeters do the same. We are all learning so much from each other. I am loving every minute of the learning experiences I have here on Twitter!

I tweet to give others inspiration and motivation. That is why I tweet a lot of quotes.

I tweet to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, bc fighting blood cancers such as Leukemia and MDS are important.

7. I tweet to cultivate relationships. To continue them. To be a part of them, to celebrate them! I enjoy being in relationships, and I enjoy being part of the community, a community we call Twitter! :)

8. I tweet just bc it's fun! Sometimes on Twitter we just have a blast! I love the great human interaction.

9. I tweet for the intellectual stimulation. Whether it be by joining in a very fast paced hashtag chat, learning new facts from a link provided by a tweeter, or reading a post that may stretch my mind -- I tweet to sharpen my mind, and for what I can learn.

I initialy began using Twitter as a way to find prospects for my business. I very quickly discovered how much more there is. I can quickly others who share my interests and how my reach is now global.

I have really fallen for this - I am very excited about the possibilities.

I tweet to:
1. connect to likeminded people
2. see what's going on in the tweetosphere
3. am still trying to learn how to use it to leverage contacts and get new business.
